Private In-Home Pet Euthanasia
Knowing when to end the suffering of your pet can be an extremely difficult and emotional decision.
Arranging a euthanasia in the privacy and comfort of your own home can make this decision a little easier. Your pet will not have to be stressed by the car ride or visit to a veterinary hospital setting, and you will have the privacy to mourn the loss of you beloved family member in a quiet and familiar setting.
Euthanasia involves giving a subcutaneous (under the skin) injection of sedation first. The sedation may take between 10 – 20 minutes to take effect. Once your pet is sedated, a final intravenous (in the vein) injection of a euthanasia drug is given. The euthanasia is normally a very peaceful process.
We know how hard this final decision can be. Contact us for further questions or counselling should you need any support.
